The White Desert trip (two days and one night) is one of the most beautiful camping experiences in Egypt, where you are surrounded by white chalk formations resembling the surface of the moon, under a clear sky where the Milky Way is visible.

Day 1 – 6:00 AM
Departure by car from Cairo to the Bahariya Oasis (approximately 4-5 hours). Arrival at the oasis, lunch, and preparation for the 4×4 vehicles.Black Desert TouDay M
Return to the 4×4 ehicles and begin the safari. Visit the Black Desert for climbing and taking photos from the top of the volcanic hills, then stop by the village of Al-Hayz for a rest and Bedouin tea.
Crystal Mountain and Wadi Al-Aqabat

Head to Crystal Mountain, the starting point of the White Desert Reserve, located between the Black and White Deserts. It is composed of shiny crystalline quartz stones. Here, the crystals are formed from the remnants of a volcanic eruption. Then, head to Wadi Al-Aqabat (a charming sand dune area with high mountains and breathtaking scenery). Afterwards, head to the sand dunes for sandboarding.
Arrival at the White Desert and Camp Setup

Enter the White Desert Reserve (both old and new sections) and explore the unique rock formations known as “Mushrooms” and “Chicken.” Watch the legendary sunset, then set up your Bedouin camp, light a campfire, and enjoy a charcoal-grilled dinner.
Stargazing

Enjoy the Milky Way and shooting stars at night, and spot the small desert foxes (fennec foxes). Early the next morning, watch the sunrise and enjoy hot drinks with breakfast.
6 After Breakfast
Pack up your camp and return to the Bahariya Oasis. Bathe in the hot sulfur springs and then travel back to Cairo (arriving approximately 5:00 PM).
